A Typical Day In My Life As In Reality

I was driving to work and was already caught up in heavy traffic after travelling for only 1 kilometer. The route that I chose that morning did not seem to be less crowded than other roads I commonly drove through. I squeezed my brain trying to come out with a way to get moving as quick as possible. The modest option would be to cut a red light close whenever the situation allows.

The traffic was painful as usual and a driver who aggressively took over my car for a quick turn exacerbated how I felt that morning. I pressed the honk at him as a warning that our cars came too close when he decided to dangerously shove towards my lane. He drove away quickly pretending that he had no idea that my car was there. A typical day in my life as I want it to be

I was cycling to work today, whizzing through oak trees whose foliage sheltered me with soothing comfort. I had my canvas leather bag sitting nicely in the basket in front rear of my bike. My hair smelt good and my skin was glowing as the morning breeze rubbed against it. I wore my favorite pants with my classical V line white shirt tucked into it. I added a pair of white pearl earrings for accessories. My shoes were flat from a famous brand.

As soon as I reached office, I made myself a cup of latte and bit a big chunk of pancake I had brought from home. I turned on my laptop and logged in to check two email accounts: one is designated for work and the other one for social chats with colleagues. On the latter that very morning, I could see that I was swamped by trails of messages about a female colleague’s unexpected wedding invitation.

My desk at the office is facing some green space which is set against high rise buildings at the far back. When nights fall in, the scenery changes totally. Morning views are always solemn, steamy and fresh with sounds of birds chirping merrily; Night views are very metropolitan with sparks of office light shining like stars. Both are similarly intense.
